A blast from the past – My 1963 Chevy C-10 454 BBC

Lookie what I came across. A frame off resto I did on a 1963 Chevy C10. I did a frame off build on this back in 1990-1993 when I was 28 years old.
Awesome to see the ole girl again.

Still looks exactly the way I built it except I had the grill and bumpers painted the same color.
It even still has the “Chevy Thunder” sticker on the back window I put on in about 1996.

I back-halved this using 2×3 tubing (Guidos Specialties). Narrowed the 9″ and hung 33×19.5″ Sportsmans on it.
I designed the rear frame and had Guidos Specialties do it. I also designed the interior of the bed which He did all the fabrication. I did all the polishing.

I supplied all the engine parts and Cedric at Modern Performance did the motorwork.

Good to see it again!
I remember selling this to a guy that lived in Lutz in 2001. The classic car place must have bought it from him. It has since been sold.
Ironic that the video was added to YouTube on me and Jody’s birthday (2/10)
