-Most emblems are made to fit the contour of your tank. There is normally a 'right' and 'left'. So be sure you are purchasing the correct emblems.
SOME emblems are not bendable like the thick chrome tank emblems. The thinner emblems normally are.
-If the emblems are used, some of the emblems have recessed area on the backside where the double-sided tape is. If this tape is gone, then these are a true pain to install. A great example is the Road King Custom emblems. These were thin HARLEY-DAVIDSON staggered lettering and the backside is recessed. Nearly impossible to install if the tape is not there
-On emblems that the tape was for the most part intact, they can be installed with some drops of super glue. Be very careful installing though as the glue can run out the bottom of the emblems
