Sanding Blocks for Prep, Bodywork & Paint

Dura-block pretty much has the market cornered on the sanding blocks, but you still have other choices.

TIP: Be sure to use the correct block for the job at hand.
The bigger the repair, the bigger the block. If you have a big dent, you might want to even use a file board.
Also, the flater the surface the harder the block should be.
On motorcycle parts, I normally use a softer style block as there really aren't too many flat surfaces.

My favorite go-to pad is the 3M 05586 (I have that listed below)
This pad made so you can wrap a 6" piece of DA paper around it.
