Auto Body 8" Dual Action Orbital SanderOtherwise known as a mudhog. This is like a regular smaller da except this has a steel backing on the backing plate. The pad is bolted on versus being screwed on a single bolt.These do a great job at cutting down bondo work. They have a lot of torque and can act as a block. This is my personal favorite bodytool I use. I like this over a fileboard. Use 'sticky' back type 8" sandpaper. Normally you'll want to use a coarser grit on this type tool. I really only use grit like 80 or 40 on the 8" DA. Be sure to keep them oiled up.
