Auto Body Dual Action Sanders - Also known as DA
If you are a pro or plan on doing quite a few jobs, don't skimp
here. You'll want a good quality auto DA.
Be sure to get a 6" DA as this will help speed up the sanding versus a 5" DA.
Quality DAs alway are better built including better quality bearings that will last a long time.
You do get what you pay for!!!!
My personal favorite are the DynaBrades
Also keep in mind, there are different 'pitches' or throws on a DA. The longer the throw, the more aggressive the DA sanding will be.
An aggressive DA will work great when doing bodywork, whereas a shorter throw will be great on finer type sanding like when you are sanding a fresh paint job, possibly getting ready to reclear after doing some graphics.
