January, 2010 UPS Rates going up again
UPS continues to deliver you added value and improvements in service while aggressively cutting our costs to the extent it does not impact service. After careful evaluation of customers’ needs and the rising costs that affect all businesses, UPS has set rates effective January 4, 2010.
Package
UPS small package Daily and Retail rates have changed as follows*:
- UPS Ground service has increased 4.9%.
- UPS Air and International Services have increased a net 4.9% through a combination of a 6.9% increase in the base rate and a 2% reduction in the Air and International Services fuel surcharge.

i'm hard at work redoing our Samples of Work / Customer Rides and Signature Sets section.
The old program was written in PERL (outdated), and the new is PHP with a MySQL backend.
Transferring over 10,000 pics is no easy task.15+ hours so far and I'm only about 1/3 of the way done working it into the rest of the website.
We aren't shy!!!! View our pics at a very large and up close to see the refections and quality.
For the ultimate viewing pleasure, when you go to our new "Gallery", open up the album of pics you like, then click on "View Slideshow" link located on the left-hand menu. Then you will see a "View in 3D" in the upper right hand corner.
Download the "Cooliris" plugin. (follow the steps given by Cooliris) View the pics in a more dramatic way!
Tip, You can see large and close up close-up pics by clicking the small box with the 4 arrows in the lower left corner of the Cooliris browser.
Be sure and take a peak (Don't forget to click on the View Slidshow, then click on the View in 3D)

Unbelievable!!!!! Yet another site that decided to steal the images and text off our website and use them on his website...and rename it to 'Glaze it Up'
I emailed JI Kustoms, but without any response. Either they went out of business or they don't answer emails.

They also copied my warranty.
How can they live themselves when they do that???? I spent quite a bit of time on those graphics!!!
and...This website (KC Kustoms) copied and pasted my warranty word for word.
Amazing how many people just make up a website just by copy and pasted someone elses hard work!!!!! The consumer never knows it either. They think the content on their site is their own wording...but in reallity it's just taken from another website....you never know!!!!

Found out that Full Throttle magazine cancelled their "Sweet 16" awards this year. It was advertised along with their 3 days Expo show, but apparently they cancelled it. They said they didn't have much participation from their readers. Could it possibly be because they didn't promote it enough?
We only saw it mentioned a couple times in previous issues of their mag.
We were looking forward to another possible nomination. We had won it 3 years out of the past 4.

A ton of custom painting businesses are on their way out - (no, we are not one of them.) I know of at least 30 that have went under, I would think mainly due to the economy. Others, probably because ALL costs have went up including materials.
I know of one well known competitor that has the business for sale. They haven't updated their site in 7+ months. Others are out of business, but still have their website up. Most do take their index page down.
I think this site really thinks their visitors are dumb to think that they are booked for 2009.

You can also check the 'Wayback Machine" to see when they first put their site up.

If you want to go even further back, you can see where I had a custom flame paint page back in 2000. I even had a How-To section for other painters. That has grown to a completely separate website
