I began the venture to paint my bike because I wrecked her. At the time I began my vacation last year I was not sure if I was going to keep her (my Dyna) and our 3 week vacation was going to be my deciding factor. While we were on vacation last year in Glacier National Park, Montana, a deer decided she wanted to share the Highway with me. Unfortunately, I guess you might say, "The Deer Won" because my Dyna and I went down. After a fancy helicopter ride through the Rockies, and a 4 day hospital stay, which I remember nothing of, I decided this was it, if my Dyna and me come out of this then she is a keeper. I have taken the last 8 months to refine her and why not I have been recooperating from 6 broken ribs, broken shoulder, and a pretty serious concussion, so I had time to kill before I could ride again. Obviously, I needed a new tank and this meant, hhmmm, new paint. Then in December the shop said the frame was bent. After a big fight with the insurance company I received a new frame and that meant, hhmmm, new paint. Right? Are you with me? LOL! My Dyna, "Scarlett" is a Beauty now. I would not give her up if she were the last possession I had and I was starving. We have bonded and all I can say is this bike "ROCKS!" We receive compliments everywhere we go. She may not be big but she is GORGEOUS! Thank you Scott for working with me to bring my own personal touches to my bike. She is officially 1 of 1.
